Leather Overalls

Overalls: H&M / Tee: Cynthia Rowley / Heels: Zara

As soon as I saw these in H&M, I freaked out just a little bit. I've been looking for a great, inexpensive pair of quality long leather overalls, and these are exactly it. I kept it really simple with a white linen tee and strappy heeled sandals from Zara.

Thanks for the photos Lauren!

Update: Outside My Comfort Zone

Top: H&M / Skirt: H&M / Shoes: Bank Fashion

A long while ago, I wrote about going outside my comfort through fashion. Here's a little update...

On my most recent trip to H&M, I bought this interesting top. I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it, but was still hesitant because it was different from anything I had ever bought. Again, I thought about what others would think.

And so, again I told myself it doesn't matter what others think. I love it and that's what matters. Most likely, those people you're worrying about think you look amazing but are too scared to say so! Wear what you're scared of and it will pay off.

Thanks to Lauren for the pictures and shop my look below! :)

Ebony and Ivory

Blouse: H&M / Fedora: H&M / Jeans: Topshop / Shoes: Topshop

I forgot to tell you all about my bangs! I recently remodeled my hairdo after the fabulous Jane Birkin, and even though I hated it at first, I now am completely head over heels.

For this outfit, I took some inspiration from Danielle Bernstein (who has the same shirt as I do) and went for all black and white. Black and white is my go to look. The colors together make any outfit elegant and classy but also give it a modern edge.

I'm so in love with these photos Lauren took of me! I always get so nervous in front of the camera, but I love shooting with her. Definitely check out her blog :)

Fedora

Fedora: H&M / Dress: Zara / Jacket: H&M / Shoes: Crown Vintage

I finally found my perfect black fedora, and it's from H&M. I paired it with my striped dress from Zara, which is my new obsession, and my trusty H&M faux leather jacket.

Thanks again to my friend Lauren for taking these pictures!

October Lust List

Untitled #9526

Untitled #9526 by theleatherlook

  1. Zara Striped Parka - I kicked off October with a little treat for myself, this amazing parka from Zara! I've been wanting it for months now, and I'm so excited to receive it in the post.
  2. Forever 21 Cocoon Coat - Unfortunately, this is sold out in my size at the minute, but I am on the mailing list, so I know when it comes back in stock!
  3. Forever 21 Plaid Jacket - Plaid is such an amazing print for fall and winter, and so is this jacket from Forever 21 (Their outerwear is so on point!).
  4. Zara Playsuit - This style of playsuit reminds me of a Topshop one I loved last fall, and I'm adore this one as well.
  5. Garage Clothing Dress - Everyone needs a cute little dress to layer under sweaters and boyfriend coats. This one from Garage has an adorable print that would go perfectly with cropped jumpers and a pork pie hat.
  6. Topshop Pork Pie Hat - Speaking of pork pie hats, they are the perfect summer to fall transition piece.
  7. H&M x Jeff Koons Bag - Jeff Koons' collaboration with H&M produced this amazing bag. It's the perfect size for walking around on a crisp fall day.
